About Brendan M. Collins
Brendan M. Collins is a Fort Lauderdale attorney that serves clients throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Collins focuses his practice of Probate and Estate litigation. Mr. Collins’ primary motivation is assisting individuals to secure their entitlements and protecting family legacies during times of need.
Mr. Collins was admitted to the Florida Bar on September 27, 2021. Upon his admission to the Florida Bar, Mr. Collins began working as a Criminal Defense attorney in Miami, Florida. During his two-year tenure as a Criminal Defense attorney, Mr. Collins handled cases ranging from DUI to First Degree Murder. This invaluable experience exposed Mr. Collins to daily courtroom litigation and hands-on experience as he navigated both evidentiary and trial issues.
In late 2023, Mr. Collins made the transition from the Criminal Law practice when he was hired as an Associate at one of Florida’s most respected Probate and Estate Litigation firms. At the firm, Mr. Collins handled upwards of 40 cases at once, securing more than $25,000,000.00 in recovery for his clients, and saving them potentially more. Mr. Collins’ achievements in the field of Trust and Estate Litigation resulted in his nomination and award as a Lawyer of Distinction for the years of 2025 and 2026.
As a personal aside, Mr. Collins was Born in Providence, Rhode Island to Dave and Sheri Collins on November 14, 1994. Mr. Collins is a graduate of St. John’s University’s Tobin School of Business (’17) and Suffolk University Law School (’21). During law school, Mr. Collins clerked for Federal Magistrate Judge, the Honorable Lauren F. Louis of the Southern District of Florida, headed Suffolk University Law School’s Committee of Appropriations and Budgeting, and was a Summer Associate at the Law Offices of Butters & Brazilian LLP in Boston, Massachusetts.
